  Anyone who will be working in any healthcare-related area, including nursing students, home health aides, or any hospital staff, please register for BLS Provider (formerly known as BLS for Healthcare Providers).

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online

This course is for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials. Course is completed 100% online with printable certificate of completion available upon completion.

This course teaches:

  • What bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread
  • Protection from exposure and how to act if exposed
  • How to clean up after exposure
  • How to tell or report any exposure
ACLS Skills Checkoff

The hands-on skills check off is for those who have taken the American Heart Association online portion of the training but require the in person skills check-off to complete.

Reminders:

  • Bring your completion certificate at time of check off.
  • If you are having troubles printing the certificate take a picture with your cell phone and bring with you to class.
  • Once the online course is completed you must complete the skills session within 60 days.
*There is no charge if you purchased the online portion through SMRT. If you purchased the online portion elsewhere you must pay the skills session fee below of $95 to reserve your spot.
